Join UVA career counselors and UVA English major alumni at the Bryan Hall Faculty Lounge (room 229a) for a conversation designed specifically for English majors, though open to all.Learn how strengths in writing, communication, research, interpretation, and critical thinking can translate into meaningful opportunities across a wide range of fields, from media, publishing, film, advertising, and other creative industries to law, advocacy, and beyond. During the session, we’ll explore how to connect the skills you are developing as an English major with potential career paths in creative industries and the law.We will be joined by two special guests, both of whom majored in English at UVA, who will share their experiences navigating the transition from college to grad school and professional life.
